We collect information you provide when using Study Maxxing, including account information, uploaded PDFs or audio files, YouTube lecture URLs, generated notes, quiz answers, tutor messages, weak-concept reviews, student discount details, and support requests.

We also collect technical information needed to operate the service, including request metadata, IP address, browser or device information, usage limits, billing status, security logs, and diagnostic information.

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Study Maxxing. This includes generating study notes, quizzes, tutoring responses, flashcards, weak-concept review, account access, usage limits, subscriptions, student discount verification, and customer support.

We also use information to prevent abuse, enforce our terms, debug product issues, comply with legal obligations, and understand whether the product is working correctly.

We do not sell personal information for money.

Your uploaded or submitted learning material is used to generate Study Maxxing outputs for your account. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload or submit that material.

If you share a study set, the shared material and generated output may be accessible to anyone with the share link.

Study Maxxing may send uploaded or submitted learning material, prompts, and related context to AI providers or model gateways so the product can generate notes, quizzes, tutor answers, and review practice.

AI output may be incomplete or incorrect. You should verify important academic or professional material against the original source.

Authentication is handled through Clerk. We use account identifiers to connect study sessions, usage limits, billing status, student discount status, and product access to the correct user.

Subscription checkout and billing management are handled through Clerk Billing and its payment infrastructure. Payment details are processed by the billing provider and are not stored directly in Study Maxxing application code.

We may disclose information to service providers that help operate Study Maxxing, including authentication, hosting, backend infrastructure, database, storage, AI processing, email delivery, payment processing, security, analytics, debugging, and customer support providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect Study Maxxing or users, to prevent fraud or abuse, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

If you request a student discount, we collect your school email, school name, graduation year, verification status, and verification attempt metadata. Verification codes expire after 15 minutes.

Study Maxxing and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, security, session management, product functionality, analytics, and billing flows.

Some features may not work correctly if browser storage or cookies are disabled.

Study Maxxing is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us at haiapplabs@gmail.com so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the service, including authentication, authorization checks, rate limiting, security headers, and operational monitoring.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Study Maxxing, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information about personal information we collect, use, or disclose. You can submit privacy requests to haiapplabs@gmail.com.

We will respond to privacy requests as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Study Maxxing is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.

You may choose not to upload material, not to share study sets, or not to use paid features. Account, privacy, billing, or deletion requests can be sent to haiapplabs@gmail.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Study Maxxing changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice when appropriate.
